Overview
The SmallHD Focus 504 5" On-Camera Monitor is an ultracompact 5" monitor for handheld, gimbal and other lightweight rigs where every gram counts. Its 1920 x 1080 touchscreen reaches 1000 nits and covers 100% of Rec. 709, and it runs SmallHD's PageOS.
HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, locking USB-C ports and optional control of select ARRI, RED, Sony and Canon cameras make it a flexible choice for run-and-gun shooters and small crews. It runs from an NP-F battery, a 2-pin LEMO-type input or USB-C, and its aluminium chassis carries four 1/4"-20 anti-twist threads for rigging.
PageOS Tools

Camera Control
With the separately available camera control licence, PageOS can control select ARRI, RED, Sony and Canon cameras through one of the USB-C ports or over the built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, which also works with the Fleet Control app. A USB-C thumb drive plugged into the rear port loads custom 3D LUTs, updates firmware and saves screenshots.
Power & Mounting
- NP-F battery on the built-in rear plate, or a 2-pin LEMO-type input with an external supply
- USB-C power input, plus two USB-C ports that output 5 V for small accessories such as smartphones
- Four 1/4"-20 anti-twist threads around the chassis for tripods, handheld gear, gimbals, cages, handles and extension arms
- A portrait interface for monitoring and framing vertical content
