Overview

The SmallRig 6775 Advanced "Hawklock" Handheld Cage Kit for Sony FX5 protects the camera body, provides multiple mounting interfaces for accessory expansion, and supports low-angle shooting on the Sony FX5. Built from aluminum alloy and stainless steel with silicone, PU leather and microfiber leather detailing, the cage combines top mount plates and a U-shaped cage for flexible setups, with each module secured at two or more points for stable, anti-twist mounting and protective pads at all camera contact points.

Enclosed Top Handle & NATO Mount

The ergonomic top handle offers a comfortable grip and mounts quickly through the NATO clamp, with an enclosed design that helps prevent accidental drops during low-angle shooting. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the port and maintains stable signal transmission during shooting.

15mm Rod Clamp & Adapter Support

The wrist strap features an ergonomic design that reduces wrist strain and improves security during extended handheld shooting. The 15mm rod clamp is secured at multiple points for stable expansion with accessories such as follow focus units, while the adapter ring support improves lens stability and reduces stress on the camera mount.

A magnetic wrench is built into the cage for convenient access and easy assembly.

Compatibility:

• Designed for the Sony FX5.
• When using the top plate with the NATO rail, confirmed compatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10, and the DJI Mic 2 hot shoe adapter.
• Confirmed incompatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-W3, ECM-W3S, and ECM-W2BT microphones.
• When using the Sony XLR handle (XLR-H2B) or Sony EVF (DVF-EL1B), all top plates must be removed first.
• The adapter ring support is compatible with Metabones, MOFAGE, and Nisi PL-E adapters. When using the MOFAGE PL-E adapter, it must be removed before changing the filter.
