Overview

The SmallRig "Black Mamba" Camera Cage Kit for Canon EOS R5 Mark II bundles a formfitting camera cage, a top handle and an HDMI/USB-C cable clamp to give your R5 Mark II all-in-one protection and rigging in a sleek, rough-black finish. The cage keeps the camera's controls, battery door and SD card slot within easy reach, and its wide range of mounting threads makes it simple to add lights, monitors, microphones or a gimbal.

HawkLock Arca-Type and Shoe Mounts

A HawkLock Arca-type mount on the base lets you mount the cage directly on DJI RS-series gimbal stabilizers and Arca-type tripods, while a HawkLock shoe mount on top adds a spot for a light or microphone.

Secure, Twist-Free Camera Mounting

Three mounting screws hold the camera securely, and rubber padding on the base prevents metal-to-metal contact. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, most anti-twist, plus strap slots and a QD socket, give you plenty of options for accessories and carrying straps. The Allen key/screwdriver tool stores on the bottom of the cage.

Black Mamba Top Handle

The aluminum top handle mounts via a 3/8"-16 anti-twist screw and has a soft silicone finger grip. A shoe mount sits at the front and an ARRI-style anti-twist mount on top, and the handle can support a rig up to 15 kg.

HDMI and USB-C Cable Clamp

The durable aluminum cable clamp attaches with two M3 screws and secures cables with knurled 1/4"-20 screws that adjust to fit varying cable diameters, preventing accidental disconnects. It is compatible with SmallRig cages for the Canon EOS R5 C, R5, R6 and R6 Mark II.
