Overview

The SmallRig 5226 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit for 15mm LWS Rods lets you carry a V-mount battery directly on your camera rig's 15mm rods, keeping power close to the camera without extra cabling or a separate battery bracket. It's built around the industry-standard 15mm LWS rod spec, drawing power through a single D-Tap output and two USB-C ports, with a modular screen protector and cable management tools included to keep your rig tidy.

D-Tap and Dual USB-C Power Output

A single D-Tap output delivers 11.2 to 16.8V from your mounted V-mount battery, while two USB-C ports reach up to 20V at 3.25A and 65W, enough to power cameras, monitors, and other accessories directly from the plate.

Tool-Free LCD Screen Protector

The modular LCD screen protector repositions without tools to shield your camera's flip-out screen, and works with compatible V-mount batteries up to 7.9 cm wide.

Cable Management Tools

Included cable clips and hook-and-loop straps route and secure your cords, keeping your V-mount setup free of dangling cables.

Compatibility:

• SmallRig V-mount batteries 3579B, 4871, 4872, 3580B, 4929, 4930, 4292, 4974, 4608, 4984, 3581B, and 4293.
• Recommended for use with a compact 15mm LWS baseplate, such as 1798, 1674, 3357, 1775, or 4002.

Battery Installation and Power Notes

If a V-mount battery doesn't seat properly, check that the trigger safety lever is disengaged before inserting it. When the plate won't be used for an extended period, remove the battery or hold the power switch button for three seconds to cut off the output function.
