SmallRig 4575B Advanced Cage Kit for Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K

Overview

The SmallRig Advanced Cage Kit for Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K bundles a full camera cage with a top handle, an SSD mounting bracket, a cable clamp, a rotating side handle, a 15mm LWS baseplate and carbon fiber rods, giving the Cinema Camera 6K a complete rigging solution in one kit. Full access to the camera's controls, compartments and connectors is maintained once the cage is fitted, so nothing about day-to-day operation is compromised. Note that this kit is designed specifically for the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K and is not compatible with the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or 6K Pro models.

Aluminum Cage with ARRI-Style Threads

The cage features a shoe mount, a side NATO rail, and multiple 1/4"-20 threads and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style mounts across the top, sides and bottom. A lens mount adapter support is included to help carry the extra weight of adapters such as the Sigma MC-21 or MC-31 with heavier lenses.

Portrait and Landscape Mounting

The camera mounts using two 1/4"-20 screws at the base and one on top, with silicone pads preventing twisting or scratching. Threads placed on both the base and side make it quick to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting.

Top Handle and Side Handle

• ARRI-style 3/8"-16 top handle provides a secure, balanced carry point.
• Rotating NATO side handle with a nonslip silicone grip for right or left side use.

SSD Mounting and Cable Management

A spring-loaded SSD clamp secures Samsung T5, T7, T7 Shield or T9 drives with a soft rubber interior and its own integrated USB-C cable clamp, while a combination HDMI/USB-C cable clamp on the cage itself keeps connections from pulling loose.

15mm Baseplate and Rod Support

The included baseplate provides multiple mounting threads plus a dual 15mm LWS rod clamp for the carbon fiber rods, letting you add a lens support, matte box or follow focus motor to the rig.
