Overview

The SmallRig 3669D Advanced Cage Kit for Sony a7 V/a7R V/a7 IV/a7S III adds accessory mounting and protection to your Sony mirrorless camera. The lightweight kit includes a formfitting camera cage, two locking side plates, an HDMI cable clamp, a side handle, and a top handle with a 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory mount.

Locking Side Plates & NATO Rail

Integrated locking side plates with M2.5 screws can be adjusted depending on the camera model in use for extra security, while a HawkLock-style NATO rail and two cold shoe mounts accommodate wireless transmitters, fill lights, or side handles. A hinged arm maintains access for battery replacement.

Multiple Accessory Mounting Threads

Multiple 1/4"-20 threads and ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads throughout the cage offer mounting points for articulating arms, monitors, and other accessories, while strap slots and a QD port give further attachment options.

Gimbal & Tripod Ready

An Arca-type quick release plate on the bottom of the cage allows for easy integration onto a tripod or stabilizer, including the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 4 Mini gimbal stabilizers.

HDMI Cable Protection

The included HDMI Cable Clamp mounts onto the side of the cage with a single 1/4"-20 screw secured by two anti-twist pins, and its knurled screw adjusts a sliding block to accommodate different cable diameters and prevent accidental disconnection.

Top & Side Handle Mounting

The included Top Handle uses a locking 3/8"-16 thumbscrew with locating pins and adds one locking and two standard cold shoe mounts plus multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads. The Universal Side Handle attaches to either side of the cage via an ARRI-style anti-twist 3/8"-16 screw and adjusts vertically up to 3.6 cm, with four 1/4"-20 mounting threads and a cold shoe slot for additional accessories such as a fill light or secondary monitor. A magnetic Allen key stores in the handle's base when not in use.
