SmallRig 4977B "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II

Overview

The SmallRig 4977B "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II is a machined aluminum alloy cage built to protect the camera while adding a wide range of mounting options. It secures around the body with a single 1/4"-20 screw and two locating blocks, with silicone pads guarding against scratches, and leaves full access to the camera's buttons, ports, screen, and battery compartment. Remove the side locating blocks on both sides before mounting the cage to the camera.

HawkLock Quick Release System

The cage integrates SmallRig's HawkLock system across its top and side NATO rails, cold shoe mount, and Arca-Swiss quick release plate, letting you attach and detach compatible accessories in a single self-locking motion with no extra tools. The bi-directional mounting design allows the baseplate to be installed in either orientation.

Arca-Swiss & Gimbal Compatibility

The built-in Arca-Swiss quick release baseplate mounts directly on Arca-type tripod heads and is compatible with the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro gimbals, making it easy to move between handheld, tripod, and stabilizer setups without changing plates.

Vertical Shooting Support

Dual horizontal 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the right side let you mount a tripod for stable vertical shooting, while the three-point locking system, a 1/4"-20 base screw plus two side locating blocks, keeps the camera precisely seated.
