Overview

The SmallRig 6382 HawkLock Quick Release Vertical Shooting Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 V protects your camera while dramatically expanding its mounting options for vertical and low-angle shooting. Machined from aluminum alloy, the cage secures the Canon EOS R6 V with two 1/4"-20 screws and a positioning block, and silicone pads guard against scratches while leaving every camera control and port fully accessible. The kit bundles a rotating side handle, a NATO rail, a Magic Arm, and a Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate for a complete vertical shooting setup straight out of the box.

HawkLock One-Press Quick Release

SmallRig's patented HawkLock system lets you slide the camera onto a compatible plate and lock it in place with one press, with no secondary tightening required. A double-ended hex key needed for cage adjustments stores neatly underneath the cage, so it is always on hand.

Multi-Point Accessory Mounting

H21 slide rails on the top and sides of the cage allow quick attachment of handles, monitor mounts, or Magic Arms. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, a cold shoe, a QD socket, and strap slots support a wide range of additional accessories.

Arca-Type Base & Gimbal Compatibility

A built-in Arca-type plate on the bottom of the cage mounts directly onto Arca-compatible tripods, or onto DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 gimbals.

Included Magic Arm

The included Magic Arm offers tool-free friction adjustment, making it easy to position a monitor or light exactly where you need it.

Manfrotto 501PL Plate & Rotating Handle

A Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate attaches to the side of the cage for fast tripod mounting in vertical orientation, while the rotating side handle adjusts through 360° for a comfortable vertical grip and stable low-angle support.
