Overview

The SmallRig 6794 mini Tripod for Action Cameras is a compact, all-metal tripod built for tabletop use with action cameras and handheld gimbal cameras, and it can also support a small video light for tabletop fill lighting. It opens automatically when placed on a surface and folds flat when picked up, making it easy to switch between handheld shooting and tabletop setups. Built-in magnets in all three legs let it attach securely to flat metal surfaces such as tabletops, refrigerators, doors, and window frames, opening up flexible placement for vlogs, travel shots, and fitness videos.

Automatic Open & Fold Action

The tripod's legs open automatically when placed down on a surface and fold back in when picked up, so switching between tabletop and handheld shooting takes no extra setup.

Built-In Magnetic Leg Attachment

Built-in magnets in all three legs let the tripod attach securely to flat metal surfaces such as tabletops, refrigerators, doors, and window frames. The magnetic mount is designed for static surfaces only, so avoid attaching it to moving objects such as vehicles, and take extra care on uneven surfaces to prevent tipping. For prolonged side-mounted use, or when adding accessories like a battery handle, fill light, or microphone, use a safety lanyard (sold separately). Side mounting is not recommended for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P or Insta360 Luna Ultra, as it may cause the device to fall.

1/4"-20 Mount & 300g Load Capacity

A 1/4"-20 screw on top secures action cameras, handheld gimbal cameras, or a small video light for tabletop fill lighting, with a maximum load capacity of 300g. When pairing the tripod with a handheld gimbal camera, install the camera's original 1/4"-20 threaded handle first.
