Overview
The SmallRig 6705 Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 7R VI is a slim, form-fitting baseplate that protects the camera base while improving grip comfort, adding just 98g of weight. It attaches with a 1/4"-20 screw and includes protective pads to guard against scratches and deflection.
Ergonomics & Mounting Options
A hinged arm at the battery compartment improves ergonomics and adds pinky finger support. Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes at the bottom accept accessories such as wireless shooting grips, while a strap hole supports SmallRig's Wrist Strap.
Arca-Swiss & Gimbal Compatibility
An integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate ensures seamless compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI stabilizers, including the RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5, for quick switching between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. A QD socket is included for attaching quick release shoulder straps, and a built-in magnetic wrench makes assembly and disassembly straightforward.
