The SmallRig CT-22 Portable Carbon Fiber Tripod System is a compact, lightweight support built for action cameras and mirrorless bodies on the move. Its 4-section carbon fiber legs keep the whole system down to 1.14 kg while still handling a 5 kg working load, and a detachable center column doubles as a monopod for quick setup changes. It is a versatile all-in-one solution for vloggers, run-and-gun shooters and travel photographers who need a tripod that folds down small but still performs like a full-size support.

4-Section Carbon Fiber Legs

The rigid carbon fiber legs use flip locks across 4 sections, with independent leg spread letting each leg angle out separately for uneven ground or low-angle shots. Folded length comes in at just 52.5 cm, making the CT-22 easy to pack alongside your camera gear.

Working Height and Center Column

Extend the legs and center column together for a working height of up to 160 cm, or drop down to a minimum height of 15 cm for low-angle compositions. With the center column fully down, maximum height still reaches 131 cm, giving flexibility across a range of shooting positions without swapping accessories.

Fluid Head with Monopod Mode

A built-in fluid head with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and quick release plate provides smooth pans and tilts, with independent pan and tilt locks for precise framing. When you need to move fast, detach the center column and the CT-22 converts into a monopod for flexible, mobile filmmaking.
