Overview

The SmallRig Shoulder Rig Pro Kit provides you with all the tools you need for comfortable and intuitive shoulder-mounted shooting with your Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, or Panasonic cinema camera. Included in the kit is a shoulder pad with VCT-14 tripod plate compatibility, two adjustable extension arms, and two rubberized handles with ARRI rosettes. Once assembled, the rig offers compatibility with 15mm LWS rods and quick release systems for efficient transition between handheld and tripod-mounted shooting.

SmallRig Shoulder Pad Pro

Use the Shoulder Pad Pro from SmallRig to quickly switch between handholding your cinema camera and mounting it on a separately available VCT-14 tripod adapter plate. The Shoulder Pad Pro features a durable aluminum baseplate, and a comfortable, integrated silicone shoulder pad allows you to handhold your camera for long periods. The baseplate features include front and back 15mm LWS rod support, ARRI-style rosettes on both sides, and multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads. The bottom of the plate features a V-lock-style VCT-14 wedge to mount onto an optional VCT plate.

The included Manfrotto 501 plate features measurement markings, and it slides back and forth up within a 7.9 cm range to balance your camera on your shoulder or rig. The front 15mm rod clamp can be adjusted vertically 2.8 cm to ensure the proper 15mm rod height for certain cinema cameras. The Manfrotto plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screws and a flat wrench that stores under the baseplate secures the camera screws.

Adjustable Extension Arm

SmallRig 1870 Adjustable Extension Arm with Two ARRI Rosettes

Position your handgrip at just the right length with the 1870 Adjustable Extension Arm from SmallRig. The arm provides 16.8 to 25.9 cm of added length for an ARRI rosette-mounted handgrip.

This aluminum arm features a rosette with an M6 thumbscrew on each end, with each rosette providing 360° of rotation.

Add a handgrip to your cage or rig with this Rubber Handgrip with ARRI Rosette pair from SmallRig. This pair of ergonomic rubber-lined aluminum handgrips attach to a cage, crossbar, rod clamp, or rig via ARRI-style rosettes with M6 screws. When mounted, the handgrip rosettes can rotate 360° for the best placement. The handgrips are specifically designed for the right and left sides of your rig and have a slightly different design on each.
