Overview
The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX PRO X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod with Fluid Video Head is a lightweight, durable support built from carbon fiber and aluminum for photographers and videographers who need to move fast without sacrificing stability. Designed for fast-paced shoots and tight spaces, it extends across a working height of 90 to 170cm and collapses to just 89cm for easy transport. A one-touch X-Clutch quick-deploy lever lets you adjust height in seconds, while the included fluid video head, quick release plate, and phone holder round out a complete video support system straight out of the box.
One-Touch X-Clutch Height Adjustment
A single lever unlocks the X-Clutch quick-deploy system, letting you extend or retract the monopod in one motion rather than loosening multiple leg locks. This makes it fast to adapt to a new shooting height between setups or when following a moving subject.
Fluid Video Head with Arca-Type Plate
The included fluid video head features hydraulic damping for smooth pans and tilts, along with a pan handle for fine control. Its Arca-type quick release plate lets you swap quickly between the monopod, a gimbal, or a different camera setup, while a hybrid 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 top screw also accepts separately available ball heads or fluid heads.
Rotating Foot Base with Retractable Spike
The fold-out tripod base at the bottom of the monopod includes a foot pedal that switches between full 360° rotation and a locked position, giving you stability on uneven ground or freedom to reposition quickly. The rubber foot retracts to reveal a spike for extra grip on soft or rough terrain.
Durable Carbon Fiber Legs
Three-section carbon fiber legs with flip locks keep the monopod lightweight without compromising strength, supporting loads of up to 25kg. Two 1/4"-20 anti-twist accessory threads on the monopod body provide extra mounting points for magic arms or the included smartphone holder.
