Ultra-Wide Portable Prime

The Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G pairs an ultra-wide field of view with a remarkably compact, full-frame E-mount build, suited to street, architecture, landscape and travel photography. Part of a matched trio with the FE 40mm f/2.5 G and FE 50mm f/2.5 G, it shares the same stylish aluminum finish, 49mm filter thread and tactile control layout for a cohesive walk-around kit.

Three aspherical elements and an extra-low dispersion element suppress distortion and chromatic aberration for consistent sharpness across the frame, while dual linear autofocus motors deliver fast, quiet focusing for stills and video. A physical, de-clickable aperture ring and customizable focus hold buttons add tactile control on the barrel.

Close-Up Shooting to 0.19x Magnification

A minimum focusing distance of 18cm with manual focus enables a 0.19x maximum magnification, useful for close-up detail shots beyond typical wide-angle use.

Weather-Sealed, Portable Build

Measuring just 45mm long and weighing 162g, this lens is dust- and moisture-sealed for working in inclement conditions, with a fluorine-coated front element that resists fingerprints and is easy to clean.
