An Ultrathin Prime for Everyday Carry
The Viltrox AF 28mm f/4.5 is a full-frame prime for Sony E-mount cameras, built around an ultrathin, lightweight design that suits street and everyday photography. A fixed f/4.5 aperture keeps the lens compact enough to virtually disappear on the front of a camera, while an integrated sliding cap protects the front element without needing a separate cap to keep track of.
Compact, Low-Profile Design
At just 15.3mm long and 60g, this is one of the smallest full-frame autofocus lenses available for Sony E-mount, making it an easy lens to carry everywhere without adding noticeable bulk.
Starburst Effect in Backlit Scenes
When shooting into strong light sources, the lens produces a distinctive starburst effect, turning point-source highlights into spiky rays for added visual interest in backlit shots.
Protective Coatings and Integrated Cap
A multilayer nano coating helps resist dust, oil and moisture, while the built-in sliding cap opens and closes over the front element, reducing the risk of losing a separate cap.
