Overview

The Viltrox DC-X2 6" Touchscreen HD On-Camera Monitor puts a large, very bright view of your shot right where you need it. Its compact 6" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen reaches 2000 nits, bright enough to read in direct sun, and covers the full Rec.709 colour range for an accurate preview.

The HDMI 1.4 input accepts DCI or UHD 4K at up to 30 fps, plus 1080p, and the HDMI loop output passes the picture on to a second monitor or recorder. A 3.5 mm headphone jack lets you monitor the audio carried over HDMI.

Monitoring Tools

Judge exposure and focus before you record:

  • Pixel-to-pixel zoom to confirm critical focus
  • Custom 3D LUTs, loaded over USB

NP-F or USB-C Power

Power it from an NP-F battery on the built-in plate, or from a DC barrel or USB-C supply when you're working all day. The USB port also handles firmware updates, and an NP-F550 battery, sun hood, ball head shoe mount adapter and a hard-shell carry case come in the box, so it's ready to go.
