Viltrox 33mm T1.5 Cine Lens (Micro Four Thirds)

Overview

The Viltrox 33mm T1.5 Cine Lens (Micro Four Thirds) is the everyday workhorse of Viltrox's compact cine-style line for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Its natural 33mm focal length and T1.5 maximum aperture keep it useful everywhere from dim interiors to bright exteriors.

Focus is manual, with 0.8 MOD gears on the focus and iris rings for standard follow-focus systems, and a 14-blade iris keeps out-of-focus areas smooth. Multilayer and waterproof coatings protect the glass, and the all-metal body with brass components is built for regular use on set. The 70mm front diameter and 62mm filter thread match the rest of the series, so your accessories carry across.

T1.5 Speed with 14-Blade Bokeh

At T1.5 the lens gathers plenty of light for dim sets, and it gives you a shallow plane of focus when you want one. Its natural view makes it the lens you can leave on the camera for most of the day. The 14-blade iris keeps out-of-focus highlights smooth and rounded.

Series-Matched Cine Handling

The focus and iris rings carry 0.8 MOD gears for cine follow-focus systems, and they sit in the same place as on the other lenses in the series, so changing lenses doesn't mean repositioning your rig. Distances are marked in feet on one side of the focus ring and metres on the other. A shared 70mm front diameter makes matte box use simple, and the common 62mm filter thread lets your filters carry across the set.
