Overview

The YC Onion Tako Carbon Fibre Tripod with BC44 Bagel Ball Head is a lightweight travel support that pairs carbon fibre legs with a compact aluminium ball head. The legs carry up to 10 kg and weigh only 2.2 kg, which makes the kit a good fit for photographers and videographers who shoot on the move.

The legs open from 23 cm to 135 cm, and a centre column with a hook takes the working height to about 182 cm and lets you hang a counterweight for extra stability. The head brings a quick release plate, a panoramic scale and a notch for changing between portrait and landscape, so the kit is ready to use straight out of the box.

Bagel Ball Head

The BC44 is a lightweight aluminium ball head rated to 15 kg. A large knob locks the ball, a separate knob controls a full 360° pan, and a drag adjustment lets you set how freely the head moves for more precise framing. The panoramic scale at the base helps with stitched landscapes, and the notch in the ball flips the camera between portrait and landscape quickly. Bubble levels on the side of the head and on the top mount keep the horizon straight.

Carbon Fibre Legs

The three-section carbon fibre legs have twist locks, rubber feet for everyday use and spiked feet for soft or uneven ground. The flat 60 mm top platform takes the head through its 3/8"-16 base thread, and the included quick release plate attaches to a camera with a 1/4"-20 Screw and locks in place with the receiver's knob.
