Ultra-Wide Prime for Canon EF

The ZEISS Distagon T* 18mm f/3.5 ZE is a full-frame Canon EF-mount ultra-wide prime built around ZEISS's Distagon optical concept, giving it a 99 degree angle of view suited to interiors, architecture, and sweeping landscape subjects. A manual focus design keeps the lens simple and precise, with a minimum focusing distance of 30cm and 0.89x maximum magnification for working close to a subject.

Used on an APS-C Canon body, the lens provides a 28.8mm full-frame equivalent focal length, extending its usefulness beyond full-frame cameras. Its all-metal barrel and mount give it a robust, durable build suited to regular professional use.

Distagon Optical Design

The Distagon design corrects for field curvature and distortion, delivering high sharpness and accurate rendering from the centre of the frame right out to the edges.

ZEISS T* Anti-Reflective Coating

A T* coating is applied to every lens surface to suppress reflections, control flare and ghosting, and preserve contrast and colour fidelity even when shooting into strong light sources.

All-Metal Build Quality

An all-metal lens barrel and mount give the lens high durability and rigidity, standing up well to regular professional use over time.
