Overview

The Canon PowerShot V10 Vlog Camera (Black) packs a vlogging setup into a pocket-sized body. Its 1" CMOS sensor, the same size used in Canon's PowerShot G series, records UHD 4K and Full HD video as well as stills, a 19mm wide-angle lens fits you and the scene into the frame, and a built-in 30° stand lets you set the camera down and start recording.

It is made for content creators who want to shoot, stream and share from one small camera. 1" CMOS Sensor & DIGIC X

A 1" CMOS sensor works with the DIGIC X image processor to deliver detailed video and stills from a camera that fits in your palm. ISO reaches 12800 for stills, so the camera copes with a range of lighting, and the shutter runs from 1/4000 to 1/25 second for video and 1/2000 to 1/8 second for stills. DIGIC X processing also brings 14 colour filters and a Smooth Skin shooting mode for creative looks and flattering portraits.

UHD 4K Video Capture

The V10 records uncropped UHD 4K video at up to 29.97 fps and Full HD at up to 59.94 fps, with 2-channel stereo sound, so it suits everything from talking-head clips to action. Turn the camera on its side and it adjusts automatically for vertical shooting, which keeps clips ready for social platforms. The camera can also record for up to an hour at a time in a range of lighting conditions.

Webcam Mode for Streaming

UVC support lets the PowerShot V10 act as a Full HD webcam without any extra computer software, and it works with YouTube Live, Facebook Live and other web conferencing software. You can also live stream to your followers in Full HD at 30 fps, which makes it a handy single camera for streamers and remote workers who want better quality than a laptop webcam.

19mm Lens with Autofocus

The 19mm wide-angle lens has a 97.5° angle of view for video and 100.2° for stills, wide enough to capture a whole scene or film yourself without stretching your arm out. Contrast-detection autofocus covers the entire frame, with Face Tracking and 31 individual focus zones for stills, and the f/2.8 maximum aperture helps in low light.

Tilting Touchscreen, Built-In Stand

A large 2" touchscreen with 460,000 dots controls focus points, menus and image review, and it tilts up 180° for rear and front-facing viewing. The built-in 30° stand holds the camera upright on a desk or table, and the camera body weighs about 210 g.
