The Canon EOS 5DS R DSLR Camera Body delivers the full resolving power of its 50.6MP full-frame sensor by cancelling the effect of the low-pass filter, a variant of the 5DS aimed at photographers who want every bit of fine detail. Dual DIGIC 6 processors and a 61-point autofocus system keep handling quick for such a high-resolution camera.

50.6MP Sensor, Filter Effect Cancelled
The 5DS R neutralises the low-pass filter's effect, which lets the 50.6MP full-frame sensor show its fine detail and sharpness. Two DIGIC 6 processors manage the large files, with ISO 100-6400 and 5 fps continuous shooting.
61-Point AF & RGB+IR Metering
A 61-point high density reticular AF system covers the frame, and a 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor helps with consistent exposure.
Shutter Lag, Flicker & Screen Options
User-selectable shutter release time lag and anti-flicker compensation help sharpness and consistency, and a 3.2" 1.04m-dot ClearView II LCD shows detail when reviewing. Full HD 1080p video is recorded at 30 fps.
