The Rode DS3 is a compact desktop studio arm designed for quiet, flexible microphone positioning in podcasting spaces, broadcast radio studios, voiceover studios, and similar environments. Its heavy base is built to balance and support microphones weighing up to 1.5 kg without needing a separate clamp or mounting hardware, while a boom arm with two adjustable pivot points lets you position the microphone exactly where it needs to be. Cable management guides keep cabling tidy, and a 1/4"-20 adapter and 5/8" babypin adapter are included so the arm can mount a wide range of microphone holders.

Two-Point Pivot for Precise Positioning

Two adjustable pivot points on the boom arm let you swing and angle the microphone into exactly the right spot for your voice or setup, then hold it steady there through a session.

Heavy Base Removes Need for Clamps

A weighted desktop base balances and supports microphones up to 1.5 kg on its own, so there is no need for a desk clamp or separate mounting hardware to keep the arm in place.
