Overview
The Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head is designed to support a wide range of camera setups, from DSLRs weighing 4 lb (1.8 kg) to ENG and digital cinema cameras up to 48.5 lb (22 kg). Featuring sixteen steps of counterbalance and seven steps of pan and tilt drag, it allows precise customization for studio or field production. Independent axis locks further enhance control and stability.
Equipped with a sliding balance platform, the Video 18 S2 accepts Sachtler’s Touch & Go quick release plate, allowing easy balancing of your camera setup. The head also includes illuminated bubble levels and rosette mounts on both sides for pan handles. A right-side pan handle is included. The base features a 100 mm bowl mount, compatible with standard tripods, jibs, sliders, and other grip equipment.
