The rf 24-105mm has a fixed front lens element that doesn't extend, helping maintain the centre of gravity for smooth internal zooming. For further precision and speed control, the lens also be used with the power zoom adapter pz-e2/pz-e2b (sold separately). This can be easily attached and detached without any special tools needed.

 

Steady handheld shots

The rf 24-105mm f/2.8l is usm z features in lens optical image stabilization that provides up to 5.5 stops of shake correction and up to 8.0 stops co-ordinated control with an eos r series camera with ibis. This helps provide sharp and clear photos and videos when shooting handheld, at long exposure or in low light.
