Overview

The Tilta Camera Cage Power Kit for Sony FX5 (Black) combines Tilta's modular Full Camera Cage with a complete V-mount battery setup, letting you power your Sony FX5 and its accessories straight from the rig. Built around the same durable aluminum cage as the standalone Full Camera Cage, this kit adds an adjustable Arca-type battery receiver, a Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate and a 100W right-angle USB-C power cable, making it a practical option for long shoots away from wall power.

Full Camera Cage Foundation

The kit is built around Tilta's formfitting Full Camera Cage, a lightweight aluminum cage that wraps around the Sony FX5 on four sides while keeping its controls, ports and battery slot fully accessible. The base includes a DJI gimbal center point for faster balancing, along with top and left-side NATO rails, a shoe mount and anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for attaching accessories. A detachable Arca-type bottom plate supports both horizontal and vertical shooting.

V-Mount Battery Power System

The Tilta Adjustable Arca Receiver secures a battery plate to the cage or a DJI gimbal without needing a traditional baseplate and 15mm rods, extending up to 3.8 cm to fit batteries of different widths.

• The Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate outputs 14.8 VDC via D-Tap, 14.8 VDC via a 2-pin LEMO-type connector and 60W via USB-C PD.
• It mounts to a standard 15mm LWS rig using the included rod clamp, with additional 1/4"-20 and M4 threads for other mounting positions.
• Strap slots on either side secure the included safety strap and keep the battery firmly in place.
• The plate assembly is made from durable aluminum and stainless steel.

100W USB-C Power Cable

A 35 cm right-angle USB-C cable supports up to 100W of USB Power Delivery, with one straight connector and one right-angle connector to help minimize strain and keep cages and battery builds clean and clutter-free.

Durable Aluminum Build

• Built from durable aluminum with strap slots on all four sides.
• A dedicated magnetic latch adds extra security to the camera's battery slot.
• An Allen key/screwdriver tool is stored on the bottom of the cage for quick access.
• A cable clamp protects the HDMI cable from accidental disconnection during a shoot.
