Overview
The Tilta Nucleus Autofocus Adapter & Dual Nano II Motor Kit lets you use Sony's autofocus system with PL-mount cine lenses—including high-end and vintage lenses—on FX3, FX30, or FX6 cinema cameras. Fully compatible with Nucleus-M II and Nano II systems, it provides real-time face and eye tracking while allowing seamless manual/autofocus switching.
This kit includes the Sony E to ARRI PL-mount lens autofocus adapter, 15mm rod adapter, two 15mm rods, two Nucleus Nano II wireless motors, an L-Series battery plate, a USB-C to 7-pin LEMO-type power cable, a USB-C dual-motor Y-cable, and the necessary mounting hardware.

Lens & Motor Control
The autofocus adapter features a built-in lens library for selecting lens types and sharing lens data with Nucleus II or Nano II handwheels. Manual calibration can be saved internally for repeatable focus pulls. Dual Nano II motors control focus, zoom, and iris simultaneously using the included Y-cable.
The Nano II motors have offset gearing for stable lens operation, 0.8 MOD gear for cinema-standard lens compatibility, two USB-C ports for power and pass-through, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity for pairing with the handwheel or control handle. LED indicators show active control: green for iris, blue for zoom, purple for focus, yellow for unassigned.
Battery Plate
The Tilta L-Series Battery Plate powers cameras and accessories mounted on full or half cages using a Sony NP-F970 L-series battery. It features DC barrel outputs (8 VDC 2.1mm & 12 VDC 2.5mm), a 5 VDC USB-A output, and a USB-C 18W PD input/output. The plate mounts securely via a 1/4"-20 screw with anti-twist pins and soft padding to prevent slipping or scratching.
